Post-Thanksgiving Shopping

From all the news stations both nation-wide and locally, I was under the impression that Friday the 26th (as well as throughout the weekend) was going to be pure and utter chaos at the malls, Targets and Best Buys in the area..

    I was lined up at CompUSA at 4am in the morning. It wasn’t really that bad. Though browsing through the paper I noticed there weren’t as many good deals as there have been in the past. Maybe one of the reasons it wasn’t so crazy.

    My mother said that the traffic between Palm Springs and San Bernardino was horrible on Sunday. Seems everyone either went up to Big Bear to catch the last of the snow or they went to the River for the warm weather that followed.

    I went with a friend to buy a car. No lines there. But they were giving away free coffee!! score.

    I was reluctant to go to South Coast Plaza last weekend, because it’s usually a madhouse after Thanksgiving.

    The weekend after Thanksgiving might be the busiest in terms of foot traffic, but stores actually make more money during the two weekends before Christmas.

    Hey Joel! I’m pretty sure Terry knew they always give away free coffee! I’m pretty sure Terry was making a joke! And I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t know one if it bit you on the ass!
