Soka University
So I was taking a bike ride along Aliso Creek trail when I stumbled across Soka University. Well, not really. I knew it was there, but never actually visited. Anyways, I decided to have a self-guided tour and realized that: Soka University is the nicest university that no one will ever attend.
I mean, their campus is really beautiful. But at $20,000 a year for tuition, who will want to attend a liberal art

Interesting place. I hope it succeeds.

I went there a couple of years ago, I think before they even started having classes, there was an exhibit about Linus Pauling. Nice campus - we also went for a walk down at Aliso Creek afterwards too!
Soka’s having its big International Festival on May 7th from 10:30 - 5 pm if anyone wants to see the campus for themselves…with over 600 musicians and dancers performing on 3 stages. $5 for adults and free for kids under 18.
SUA is also graduating it’s first class in May…with 97 seniors expected to graduate representing 18 countries and 18 states. That’s an 81% graduation rate in 4 years…not bad for a new college. (And yes, I work at SUA!)
