Disneyland’s 50th : eBay

Turns out there are quite a few people auctioning off their Disneyland 50th Anniversary sneak-preview tickets (May 4th) on eBay.

But according to a friend, this might not be such a good idea, especially those without annual passports. The 3000 tickets that were raffled off to annual passport holders will still require at least one annual passport card upon entrance. Whether or not it has the passport holder who won is yet to be determined. There’s some discussion on the Mouseplanet boards.

Disneyland’s 50th : I want to come home!

Am I the only one who’s desperately trying to attend Disneyland’s 50th anniversary celebration on May 4th? Disneyland is supposedly closed on the 4th for renovations and last minute touch-ups. In actuality, it’s a closed party for the media, celebrities, and a select few. I’ve already hit up all my friends that work at the park, and the one eBay auction is already out of my league.

To be honest, I have no idea what’s going on that day. But the fact that I can’t attend only makes me want to go more. Mouseplanet seems to have good coverage of the whole ordeal.

The two faces of the Santa Ana River

Okay, so rivers don’t have faces – but we’ll try to ignore that for now

Calling all OC Bloggers

As you might have noticed, it has been a bit slow around here. Despite what our list of bloggers says, we really only have about seven people writing regularly. So, we are in search of some new writers.

For now, Metroblogging is a volunteer activity, none of the writers get paid. So we are looking for writers who just like to write and would like to share their experiences in Orange County. If you are interested, please feel free to email me or leave a comment fill out this application.
