Free Internet and get paid $500 ???

Ok, this does sound odd, but Veritest is willing to PAY YOU if you let them install SBC Internet in your home FREE!.

VeriTest states: “There is a considerable range of opinions among high-speed Internet access providers concerning the best ways to collect and interpret performance data measurements. However, based on its own experience and input from other providers, VeriTest has developed a methodology that we believe is the best available in the industry.”

They do have popups on their site that got past my rock-solid “I have Firefox” security…and there’s no such thing as a free lunch…

After reading, and re-reading the VeriTest page it seems that yes, they will track everything that system does, but it doesnt say exaclty what data they will extract from your use, and how they will store/use/publish your habits.

Other than that…hey its free, and you get $500 :–)
