What’s this, the LALA Angels offering discounts for the LA Kings when the Ducks are just down the street!?!?

Hey, Arte if you want to claim your team belongs to Los Angeles, just pull up shop and move the damn team. The Register is reporting that season seat holders for the Angels received an e-mail that offered them 10% off tickets and a free Kings hat to see the LA Kings take on the their cross-town rivals the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Cross-town? The Ducks are freaking right up the street from Angel Stadium on Katella! How in heck could Arte get lost between the 5 Freeway and one stop light!

Well, we shouldn’t be surprised. The halos bombed out in the ALCS to the White Sox, Vladimir and the new additions failed to win one for the Caballero.

I guess when you drive by Staples Center and it says “Congratulations Angels, AL West Champions” and then the next add is “Season Seats on Sale for the Angels” Arte’s not aiming for the OC market, he wants the LA Market. I’m rooting for the Samuelis to get us an NBA team with an OC name (Anaheim preferably) and give the AEG group some competition up north.
