Rant: Why?

This is a rant:

Although I love being a “Californian” – I’m not native to Cali or to The OC. I moved here from elsewhere.

What’s wrong with Californians when it comes to driving in the rain?

I’m baffled. Californians rarely have to drive in

ha ha ha. I wondered the same thing every rainy season. It’s not hard to figure out, but they never did in all the time I lived there.

I have lived in OC my whole(almost 30) years. I just wanted to mention that in the almost 14 years that I have been driving I still feel like I do not know how to drive in the rain. I will fully admit that. It does not rain here often enough for any of us to learn how to do it properly apparently.

And then there’s the ones who drive like it’s black ice. I don’t know which kind is more annoying.
Agreed, it’d hard to learn how to drive properly on wet roads with the number of rainy days we have. But I’m not complaining – having learned it the hard way in Germany. Sometimes I can’t help wondering what would happen if a freak storm dumped a little snow here.

“..I’m not native to Cali or to The OC.”

nobody who IS a native would use those names to describe it.
