I Stayed for 13 Innings…

And all I got was a lousy game.

Seriously, tonight was the worst Angels game I have ever been to. It dragged on for 13 innings (4 hours and 10 minutes) with the Angels stranding at least 15 runners on base and only managing to score 4 runs against lonely Seattle.

Just 4 runs.

If Moreno wants to field a team this bad then I’ll start calling them the Los Angeles Angels because LA can have them. What ever happened to the team that won the World Series in 2002 and won the AL West in 2004 and 2005? There gone, most of them have been shipped out to St. Louis, Toronto, and Seattle. Bengie Molina and Troy Glaus are now with Toronto. David Eckstein is now with St. Louis, and Washburn is with Seattle. Spiezo played for Seattle for a while after the World Series season and I’m not sure where he is now.

Reunite the old team, and the winning ways under Mike Scioscia, and they’ll be the Anaheim Angels again.

That’s somewhat funny, I went to the game on Friday (went with work, we had a box, it was nice) and the Angels were able to score 12 runs including one grand slam. The fireworks show was pretty good too.

Michael, you should have done it the way that I did.

I was drinking slowly at a bar–pretty sober by the bottom of the 9th, and when by the time they lost that stupid game I was too buzzed to care!
