With the NHL season kicking off at the Honda Center, or hPond for short, the Anaheim Ducks took down the LA Kings 4-3.

Sporting the new jerseys, team name, and playing in a Honda Center that was lit up with Orange lights, the Ducks started the season before a sold-out crowd. Giguere sealed the deal by stopping 41 shots from the Kings, with 22 of those shots taking place in the first period. Niedermayer and Pronger played in their first season game with the Ducks and most of the offense came from last year’s rookies.

This is only game one in a long season, let’s see what happens.
