I FEEL YOUR PAIN. I very recently switched to Time Warner/Roadrunner, mainly because I was foolish enough to sign up for their digit phone service, which negated access for the provider I had previously. I signed up for a business account because I in fact do need it for business. Yesterday the Warner Cable internet router died and I spent well over two hours on the phone with the devil as I was tranferred (and placed on hold for ) five different people. Where each time, I had to start over again from scratch. In the end, the best they could do was schedule a service call in the middle of the next week! What good is paying 5+ times the price of regular RR for a business level account if you get the same poor service as the rest? So I'm hosed, as I need the access to do my job!

My recommendation is to go with DSLEXTREME.COM for a dsl account. Their prices are very reasonable and their service runs circles around TWC. I was with them for many years and was happy with the speed and service. Unfortunately, if you have digital phone service, that solution will not work for you. I've only been with TWC for about 2 months now .. and wow am I ever sorry!

I use Road Runner (formerly Adelphia) and it's been a rough journey from day 1 with those people.

I've had great luck with Yahoo/AT&T's DSL. Good speed and features, and pretty darn friendly customer service so far.
