Anaheim places a wager with the Mayor of St.Paul

Tonight the Anaheim Ducks take to the ice in the first round of the NHL Playoffs at the “H-Pond” (AKA the Honda Center).

Anaheim Mayor Curt Pringle waged a bet with St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman, where if the Ducks win Mayor Coleman will have to display an Anaheim 150th Orange Tree and a Anaheim 150th Orange Crate with 150 Oranges in his office. If the Wild win, Anaheim will have to display candy from Pearson’s Candy Co. on Mayor Pringle’s desk.

The Puck drops at 7:30pm PST in Anaheim.

This is…. How should I put this? Lame.

Curt Pringle (everyone’s favorite racist republican stooge) makes me itch.

    Go Ducks!

This has to be the weakest of all of the sporting bets that I have ever seen, I just repeated what was in the press release.

I don’t exactly share the fondest thoughts for Pringle myself.

Go Anaheim, stick it to the Wild!

Well, the Ducks won. May the oranges of shame be bestowed upon Chris Coleman post haste.
