Merriam-Webster defines “smocking” as follows: noun – a decorative embroidery or shirring made by gathering cloth in regularly spaced round tucks

So yeah. Don’t let me catch you doing any intricate needlework but please, feel free to smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.

Ah Jon. You make me smile. :-)

BTW. LA (sorry L.A.) Metblogs gets together every now and then with the bloggers and readers. Will we ever do that? I know I was banned from blogging here, but I still really enjoy the site and stories and am curious what y’all are like IRL. So? Orange Circle (er I mean Orange Plaza Square??) anyone??

We used to have meet-ups. They happened before my time. I will pass along the request for a meet-up – we need more bloggers – please come back and blog for us – the you can organize the meet-up at the orange circle.

    Seriously.

I am willing to write, there are a lot of things in OC to write about.
I am also down for a meet-up. Maybe even get Sean to send some Metblogs stickers down from LA.

Our last meetup was in downtown Santa Ana when Grant was the captian. It was a lot of fun.

I have to say, I am completely outraged. I feel society has been picking on us for years now. I have been smocking there for over 4 years now and I am not hurting anyone but myself. I will be holding a protest this Sat. June 28th 8:00 A.M. – 9:00 A.M. to show support to the fellow smockers out there. One day it will effect you too.
