So, I Think Orange County Can Dance

While normally TV shows wouldn’t count as city [county] based posts, I really want people to tune into the show. And seeing as 3 of the top 20 dancers are from Orange County, I’m using that as my excuse for posting.

If you don’t already watch this show, you’re missing out. My wife and I are dancers, so I know we’re more inclined to like this type of show than non-dancers. However, more and more of my non-dancing co-workers are watching the show and telling me how much they love it. Let’s meet our local dancers shall we?

While Katee may have been born in San Jose, she lives not far from me in Orange! She attends Chapman University majoring in…you guessed it….Dance!

Kherington is from the land up north we call Placentia. Can you believe she only graduated June of this year??? She is easily one of my favorite girls on the show.

Twitch lives in beautiful Santa Ana. He is amazing to watch and is easily one of my favorite guys on the show. In fact for a while he and Kherington are dance partners, and have been lovingly dubbed “Twitchington”. (I know, so cute I could vomit) :-0~

The show airs Wednesday on Fox at 8pm for the 2 hour (sometimes less) competition dance portion where America votes for their favorite. Thursday nights at 9pm is the results show, where the bottom 3 couples dance a 30 second solo (usually quite amazing) to impress the judges enough not to be kicked off.

For more info go to the So You Think You Can Dance website.

Can’t wait for tonight!!

Maybe I’ll tune in or at least record it for later. I need something new now that Step It Up and Dance on Bravo is over.
