Los Al Chooses the Killer Route

It totally slipped under my radar that Los Al began a coyote eradication program on Sept. 2. And by eradication, it means exactly that. The coyotes are trapped and then lethally injected.

There are factions that say coyotes have as much of a right to live as a household pet.

Others say that they are “pests” similar to rats, and we don’t have a problem getting rid of rats.

I can see both sides, but do they really have to be killed? Can’t they just be relocated?

I’m still trying to figure out how Los Al has coyotes. Don’t they usually reside near hillsides? Killing sounds a bit extreme, but then what do I know?
