Water Features- Irvine Spectrum Center

I love water features. Fountains, pools, etc… I know the may not be the best water saving wise, but they sure do look cool. They can also be relaxing, or easy babysitting/entertainment for the youngsters.

I have come across a lot of great ones, some that may be hiding, but are a great place just to relax and meditate. The first one I am going to highlight in this series is not the most elaborate, but it is right on the heels of the my post about not taking photos of the fountains, the rebel in me, coupled with some egging on from fellow authors, made it the ideal place to start.

I couldn’t get a photo of the other children’s fountain by Target because they had erected the “House of Style” for Style Week OC and later Santa’s house during the holiday season. Like the Turtle fountain, it is a community bathing pooll/ babysitting spot that reminds me of the Cosmic Waves attraction that used to be at Disneyland.

Good to see that they didn’t slap a pair of handcuffs on you and haul you off to the Big House.

    Nice pics!
