No On Prop 8

I’m not normally one to speak of political things on this (or any) online resource, but Prop 8 is something that I’m very passionate about. It’s crap. I’d like to thank frazgo and his LA Metblogs article for getting my butt in gear and posting it here as well.
If Prop 8 passes, many of my closest friends will be affected. My friends are good people that would be denied a right that no one should be forced to live without. When we speak of denying rights I feel like I’ve been knocked back in time when women and African Americans were denied simple rights.
My hope is that sooner rather than later this all goes away, because I don’t want to have to explain to my children (as was done to me) why our society thought it was OK to do such a thing.
For more information, visit the official No On Prop 8 website.
Thanks for listening, and please, really think about what you’re doing before you fill in the little bubble.

nice post, thanks for the link back, and yes it is very important. Sadly I’ll be in MoValley for a kids basketball tournament and had to cancel out. Still donated to the cause, just canceled the rsvp.
