In these trying times of war and economic crisis, The Orange County Register has recently reminded us what’s really important with their stunning in-depth piece on wether Cindy McCain has had Botox. The burning question of “Did she or didn’t she get plastic surgery?” is an important issue that should be studied at great length (snark, snark). We do live in the OC after all – looks are important!

Out of sheer boredom I’ll speculate with them. Did she or didn’t she? Well of course she did – just look at her! Mystery solved. I feel I gave the pressing issue all the thought and speculation it deserved. Next question.

Actually, truth be told, Cindy is a perfectly lovely looking individual. If she did have plastic surgery it was probably unwarranted and unneeded. Maybe she just looks young when standing next to her husband John. Maybe she has low self esteem. Wouldn’t you? After all this is a women who is reportedly in a “marriage of convenience” and whose husband has publicly referred to her as a “trollop” and a “cunt”. You read that right. He called her a cunt, while three reporters looked on in what must have been abject horror. Oh well, it’s nothing a little nip/tuck can’t fix.

I just had a thought, if your candidate is the one who calls his spouse the c-word then maybe, just maybe, you’re voting for the wrong guy.
