Sunset Gondola

Here’s a unique way to enjoy the beauty of Huntington Harbor: Take a private tour on an authentic Venetian gondola! Fun! The Peter’s landing company offers sunset cruises for two (tres romatique) as well as the less expensive but still just as fun daytime versions.

A Midday one hour cruise for two will cost you eighty bucks and even more if you want the gondola to come and pick you up at your home on the harbor. It may be a bit pricey but it certainly is a different way to spend an afternoon.

I wonder if the the gondoliers sing too? If so, I am pretty sure they will need to lower their prices [smirk].

This sounds like fun……buuuuut, I’m going to be a bad OC Metblogger and say if I were to ride gondolas, I would choose L.A.’s red-headed step-child/our kissing cousin, Long Beach. Naples to be exact. I really enjoy the canals there. It feels more intimate.

    But maybe that’s just me.

Good find though! I don’t want to discount this! I just figured, since most of L.A. would rather OC took over Long Beach anyway, I’d mention it.
