Breaking News!! See The Space Station And Space Shuttle Tonight!
This is amazing you guys. Tonight at 6:49, if you look to the south western sky, you will see the International Space Station pass very brightly overhead in our night sky, followed closely by the Space Shuttle!! I just watched this happen in the eastern sky about 10 minutes ago. WOW! I tried to snap a picture, but it didn’t turn out too well as I had about 30 seconds notice to get ready.
So go outside with your family at 6:49 and experience something amazing together!!
PS- No telescope necessary. You can see them with your naked eye!
*UPDATE*- Picstures from the second pass! This time they were going away from each other.

The streak on the right above the houses is the Space Station. The streak on the left above the house is the Shuttle.

I got it on hidef video. Very spectacular sight. I saw it at 5:12pm PST in Corona, CA. I will post by Friday after thanksgiving on youtube under username Nowanii

It will take a few hours for the HD piece to process but should be ready by around 11pm Thanksgiving evening.
I did not realize at first the shuttle was following. I saw both bright objects in the sky moving and I thought one was an airplane and the other the Space station but then realized they were both moving in the exact same direction. then I realized the Space Shuttle must have recently undocked. I had been wanting to see this for several years and could never time it.
Seeing this on thanksgiving after a great dinner made my day and week. What a great site.
Thanks!!
Tom
We saw the space station and shuttle race through the sky (above Pike’s Peak) in Colorado at exactly 6:15pm last night (11/26)!!! It was an awesome sight to see!!!!!!! Yeah!
