An Open Letter to Orange County Republicans

Dear OC Republicans,

I am unable to vote in your gubernatorial primary, but I have one big favor to ask.

Please don’t vote for Meg Whitman.

Please don’t allow her to essentially buy the office of the governor, what with her spending almost 100 million dollars in the race so far. And that, my friends, was just for the party primary. Imagine the bazillions that would go into the state primary.

And don’t be swayed by her whole “I’m an outsider” schtick.

I’ve come to realize that as much as all politicians suck, it sucks even worse to have someone in an important position who has no knowledge of how the system works. And to think that the outsider is going to come into office and “change” everything is a pipe dream. Yes, the system sucks, but they are basically powerless to do anything about it.

We’ve already got a Republican “outsider” in office, and we’ve all seen how well that’s working.

Smooches,

Gina

P.S. Fine, don’t listen to me, then.

I’m not a Republican & I’m definitely NOT voting for this chick…or that Poizner guy either. It’s sad but it looks like either way CA might be effed, cause there’s no one worth voting for this election.

I hear you, Lin. I’m not exactly fired up about Brown, but who else am I gonna vote for? I hate this “lesser of two evils” crap.
