The Titans of Cal State Fullerton won’t be making a return trip to Omaha this year. Michael wrote about the bizarre first game win, but the Titans were unable to capitalize on the one game lead in the three-game series.

Yesterday, the ASU Devils decidedly beat CSUF 6-2, and today ASU clinched the series despite being down 7-2 in the middle of the game. Somewhat disappointing, but the team had a really good season and played well in the post-season. Fortunately and unfortunately, a lot of players from the team got drafted into the major leagues this year, so next year there will be a good number of holes to fill. Congrats to the team for making it this far, and to the players that are going to the next level.
