Venice Beach Blog Bash

Halley has called out one OC blogger to attend her Venice Beach Blog Bash, I think we should give her a few more.

So here’s the deal, Sunday, July 3rd (that’s next Sunday, the day before the Fourth of July), there will be a blogger get together at Venice Beach. I mean, sure, it’s in LA, not OC, but don’t we all regularly trek up to the LA on a regular basis anyways? Tentatively, the time is noon to three, once a time is more firm, I will let everybody know.

Yuck, Hugh Hewitt gets props before me! We were even mentioned in the same slate article.

If I had a little more notice, I definately would attend. And it had to be in Venice Beach (the beach who couldn’t even come to agreement on the various activities to celebrate it’s 100th anniversary).

Maybe we should just become the Los Angeles Bloggers of Orange County (according to the tone of her post)?

To clearify the first line, my attendence would counteract the sterotype that every one in Orange County is a walking talking, redneck, ultra-religious, conservitive.

If you’re so concerned about stereotypes, make yourself a t-shirt that says “Not A Redneck” to avoid any possible confusion. You could also sell them to some of the other bloggers on this site and cut the amount of whiney comments in half.

Mike, Hugh and Halley are friends, they know one another through #JoiIto. He wasn’t picked out as a random OC blogger. And yeah, I often feel as if we should be the LA Bloggers of OC, half the things I do are in LA.

I didn’t relize that, I saw him in Boston with his camera taking pictures (it’s one of his hobbies) and I met him once before a while back. He is a nice guy, we just come from diffrent sides of the political spectrum.

Just trying to say it with a little humor, but it came across a little coarse towards Halley.

    My apologies.
