WEEDS on Showtime
Okay the last couple of years I have been hooked on the HBO Original Series. Most recently Rome has been my show of choice. I was talking to a friend a couple of weeks ago and he said he had been watching WEEDS on Showtime I think I have found a new favorite show. So today while I am goofing off with nothing to do I am watching the whole season ON-DEMAND. I am on episode number 7 right now and I strongly recommend it. Jenji Kohan is the Creator, Writer, and Executive Producer and is my new number 1 person in Hollywood…. If you watch the show you will know what it has to do with Orange County :)
I hope showtime pays us for this one.
The show is histerical and it looks like something that would happen in the gated communities of south county.
In response to the SHO Weeds comment, I did a little research and listen to a podcast interview on the Weeds character Cilia, and I have determined that the show is filmed around Westlake Village, in Los Angles County, CA, not Orange County.
DoH!!! Is it a real neighborhood? Oh well there is for me doing my research….
i think weeds is the most interesting and REAL, down to earth tv series that has been on tv since “that 70’s show” ! rock on, showtime!
I found out that the theme song is actually a protest song by Peter something form Peter Paul and Mary
