Yikes! See the pictures below for a glimpse at the fire that was raging in the hills behind my house (in the Cleveland Nat’l Forrest, about 7:30am) . From what I’ve learned, it looks like about 1000 acres have burned and the 241 was shut down. 200 – 300 homes were voluntarily evacuated. Scary stuff!

UPDATE
Apparently, there is another fire behind the large homes they are building by the Anaheim Hills resevoir. A friend’s family has been asked to evacuate, Serrano has been closed, and flames are visable from homes off Serrano. Canyon Rim Elementary and Anaheim Hills Elementary are closed (people are encouraged to go Canyon High)
