Toy in hand, I wandered out to the John Force Holiday Car Show Sunday along with thousands of others. Kudos to all those who brought out their toys and John Force for hosting the event. The result was a huge mountain of toys for the “CHiP’s for Kids” toy drive. (There are a few other pictures on the OC Metroblog Flickr group.)

And thanks to the anonymous fact checker in pointing out that the long-defunct Santa Ana dragstrip predated the City of Irvine and was located on what is now the John Wayne Airport.
