Refrigerator Shopping in Hell

Well, perhaps not exactly hell, but it sure felt like it.

Have you ever been to the Sears Outlet in Santa Ana? If you are willing to buy an appliance with perhaps a few scratches or dings, you can walk away a winner at a cheap price. They have top of the line appliances as well as lower-tier ones.

And, of course we had to be shopping at this outlet in 105 degree heat. And did I mention this huge warehouse has zero air conditioning?

It was bad. Really bad.

But, we got an excellent deal on an excellent refrigerator. Just do your research on brands before you go, and you will do great.

How funny that you post on this. My wife and I just bought a fridge from there last week! We got a great bottom freezer fridge, stainless steel. It was originally $1800 and we got it for $750!! We lucked out going before it got too hot out and we were complaining. I can’t imagine how you didn’t melt.
I suggest the outlet to anyone! They have lots of different appliances that may be damaged, but you can’t tell with most of them.

Is it wrong that I would pay more just to shop in the air conditioning?

Just shop the rest of the year. Except for that “unplugged fridge” smell, the Sears outlet is awesome.
