Brush Fire

UPDATE: I did walk down to the fire area and took some pictures. The fire area is on the corner of Moulton Parkway and Aliso Viejo Parkway (not Laguna Hills Drive as the OC Register states. LHD is on the other side of Moulton.

AVP was shut down between Cedarbrook and Moulton. Moulton was also shut down at this intersection forcing people to either turn left (coming from El Toro) onto LHD or make a U-turn.

Wow, this happened pretty much in my backyard this afternoon. I was out all day and missed the opportunity to be an eyewitness reporter. I’ll take a walk down that way and see if I can get any photos.

Traffic along Aliso Creek Road (heading South, I think) was pretty backed-up when I was on it around 4:30 – 5:00 p.m. I was coming home from Crystal Cove when I saw quite a bit of smoke in the area that appears to be near the Aliso Creek Trail.

Anyone else in the area and have anything to report?
