Murphy Is a No-Show

The OC Register reports that Murphy, the much maligned new dragon in Disneyland’s Fantasmic, will not make an appearance during the official summer season. Whether Mr. Fire-Breath will make posthumous summer appearance remains to be seen. Maybe, just maybe, Murphy will rear his fully articulated head in time for Halloween.

I remember I was so excited to hear of the new dragon. The wife and I were going to head out opening night of the “new” Fan to see our friends perform and see the new stuff! Then our friends told us that the dragon wasn’t ready, and probably wouldn’t be for another month. We decided to wait until after our summer blockout days to see it. Looks like it’ll be another long wait. Joy.

I have to wonder what the problem is. I’ll try to do some investigation on the Disney front.
